My baby sister is going to turn 12 years old this Saturday! I can't believe it! I was there the day she was born and it doesn't seem like it was 12 years ago. For her birthday she asked that I take her pictures in her new red Christmas dress. These are the results. Isn't she beautiful! :) Happy Birthday Hannah Banana 

Intermediate Photography class

Today I went to my second photography class. This time I learned a lot of rules about photographing people. Which is what I've been needing. I learned how to pose them how not to pose them. How to get them to act more natural. I learned a lot and realized some mistakes I've been making. The other thing I learned is that I need a telephoto lens. My images will never be what I want them to be with out one. Photography is all about the lenses. So I think I'm going to take a break from the photography business until I can invest in a telephoto lens. I'll still photograph my boys and things around me I just won't go out and take photos professionally until I'm able to produce the quality of photography I'm looking for. It's amazing the difference a telephoto lens can make. Anyways here are a few of the shots I took at today's shoot. It took me awhile to figure out white balance but I eventually got the hang of it. :)  I'll just have to practice practice practice!

Oh my gosh I had fun with this Photo shoot! This girl is absolutely gorgeous. I told her she should do modeling and make some good money. And to top it off she has the sweetest personality ever! I have so many favorites  I had to group them into collages so I could post them all. Meet Megan she's a Senior and in a few weeks she'll be graduating!!! Congrats Meg! My little sister thought I needed some extra business so she volunteered me to do a photo shoot of her BFF. She then volunteered me to photograph her sleep over tomorrow night with all her friends. Although I'd love to go hang out with a bunch of giddy girls and talk about Justin Bieber all night, I must attend to more grown up duties instead. :)
