Let the summer fun begin

Today was my little boys last day of school. So, to celebrate we took the longboard to the park and rode down the super long hill. It got pretty hot so we bought snowies to cool off and then the boys ran through the sprinklers. It's been awhile since I've done pictures, of my boys, so I used this opportunity to take some fun shots. It was really bright outside so the pictures are a bit over exposed, oh well. It was a fun day anyways. Here's to summer and more longboard riding and slush cup drinking. 

Newey Girls

I've been dying to shoot some gals, so rather then make my handsome boys put on girly pink dresses and glue bows in their hair, I asked my good friend Deb if I could borrow her girls for an afternoon. She has the most gorgeous little red head. Only problem is she doesn't have much interest in the camera. Guess I'm gonna have to step up my goofy game if I wanna keep taking pics of her. I couldn't even bribe a smile out of her with candy! It's okay tho because even with out a smile she takes amazing pictures and where her smiles lack her little sister fills in double. Little Em thinks life is wonderful! You just clap your hands or shake some keys and she'll smile ear to ear for you. I had lots of fun with these girls and their mama today. 

Big Ben

Baby Ben isn't so baby anymore. This Sunday he'll be 3 years old! I think back to the day he was born and the worry he caused his mama and all of us and now he's turning 3 years old! He's a happy little guy full of energy and life and he holds a big place in all of our hearts. We love you Ben! You make this world a brighter place. (:

 Happy Birthday!!!

 Ben loves trains, in the photo below he is signing the word "train" his mom told me that on his first day of Preschool a little girl came up and gave Ben a big hug and then the two of them went to play trains together and now whenever Ben wants to go to Preschool he'll sign "Train" sooo cute! 

Karter

I did this shoot awhile ago but just haven't had time to post the pictures. This is my close friend Gwen's little guy and a few weeks ago was his baptism. He's such a cute kid with little sprinkled freckles across his nose and a wild imagination. He cracks me up all the time. Congrats on getting baptized Karter. I'm so proud of you! 

Lauryn

This is one of my super cute Primary kids. Her name is Lauryn and next month she'll be getting baptized, so we took her out and got some photos of her in her gorgeous baptism dress. I love this girl! She has such a fun personality and always has a story to tell. She's friendly and bubbly and very photogenic. I had so much fun with her today. Congrats on turning 8 and getting baptized Lauryn! I love ya and I'm so proud of you!
